Veteran Actor And Author, Adebayo Faleti Dies At 86

Renowned Yoruba actor, broadcaster, poet and and author, Adebayo Faleti has passed away. Faleti who was one of the pioneer staff of the first television station in Africa, Western Nigeria Television (WNTV) died at the University College Hospital Ibadan on  22nd of July, 2017. Faleti was responsible for translating Nigeria’s National Anthem from English to Yoruba. The All Progressives Congress has reportedly won the council election held in all the 20 Local Government Areas and the 37 Local Council Development Areas on Saturday.
